Panic! At The Disco hit the Capital One Arena on Sunday and they completely delivered everything they had and more. Brendon Urie, one of our favorite frontmen, managed to keep the crowd engaged, astounded and singing along to the band’s newer (and older) stuff.
With a perfectly executed backflip, a stroll through the floor crowd seating, a floating piano and several ‘thank you’s’ to the crowd, Urie continues to prove he’s a force to be reckoned with.
The P!ATD setlist for the night brought together some of the band’s oldest tunes, some of their more avant-garde stuff and their newest music together to one stage.
The setlist proves that stage presence, great lyrics and a great frontman can overcome the insane stylistic transitions P!ATD have created over the years. But considering all the changes the band has made over its years, we’re astounded by how great this order is.

Throughout the night, Brendon would continue to thank the crowd, pause to let them sing the songs (and would continue to be astonished when the crowd knew the words), danced all across the stage and would say ‘hello’ to people in the crowd.
During “Girls/Girls/Boys,” Brendon even had to pause when people in the crowd used their phones and colored paper to create a rainbow in the arena. With four or five pride flags wrapped around his body, he thanked the crowd for the project and for being “so amazing.”
Panic! At The Disco is a band that’s managed to survive massive transitions, changes and eras of music (we miss you, emo phase). But they’ve always managed to come out on top — they remain quirky, fun and a cornerstone for so many people.
DC’s show just continues to prove that P!ATD isn’t going anywhere.
